Natalieism

This is a quickie . . . but every day when we walk into daycare, Natalie says, "We are tossing Mollie first, right? We are gonna toss Mollie first, right?" The first time I didn't really get it, but I finally figured out she means "drop." Drop, toss, it's all the same, right? Well, maybe not when you're talking about babies! Anyway, it still cracks me up every day, and I'm a little bit ashamed that I didn't correct her for a few days because it makes me laugh. I tried to quickly tell her today that she means "drop," but I'm not sure that it got through. We'll probably be "tossing" Miss Mollie again tomorrow morning! :) Thankfully, in related news, Mollie is doing super great now with her "toss" aka drop off - no more tears from either girlie anymore! Praise Jesus! :)

Sold!!!

Our house is officially under contract, which means soon we'll be on the move!! The story is actually long and kind of interesting, but it will have to wait for another day! The fact is that we were able to settle on an offer that makes us happy, we are excited not to have to do any more open houses or showings or website maintenance (or or or hee hee!), and we are THRILLED to be moving into our new home, hopefully in mid October! Woo hoo!

Thanks to everyone for their prayers and positive thoughts for us! It really seems like it was a God thing that it has all worked out like it did!

I'd also like to give a special shout-out to my wonderful hubby who made selling this house and (very successfully!) negotiating the offers on both houses pretty much his second job. It's almost like he's got real estate in his blood or something! ;) ;) ;)

Expect to see not much of me for a while - and then lots of new house photos and probably fretting over design ideas! :) Fun stuff!

Natalie's Third Birthday Party

It's so hard to believe that Natalie is now three years old - she's officially a preschooler (as opposed to a toddler)! We had her birthday party yesterday, and despite the weather (a huge downpour of rain off and on all day), it was a great success! :)

Here are one million and one photos to commemorate the occasion: ;)

Zane's Baptism . . . & Stuff :)

So I know I haven't had a really good post in forever, and it's late, so I'm not going to stop to write much, but I wanted to post a few photos from Mr. Zane's baptism, and then a few other random ones. :) His day went well, and boy was he a trooper! :)

Mollie has developed a fascination for Zane. It's so adorable! She watches him intently and attempts to share toys with him. We caught her trying to figure out how to pick him up out of his bouncy seat, and here she was obsessed with giving him hugs. :) :) :)
