Halloween 2010

So this is pretty much Natalie's first year to truly see what Halloween is like. It's the first time she's Trick-or-Treated in the neighborhood, been able to really eat candy, and even pass some out to ToT-ers that rang our bell. By the way, after a while, when our doorbell rang, Natalie would bellow from her little perch on the floor surrounded by candy, "Daddy!!! Some more people is wanting candy!" :)

Mollie actually seemed to enjoy having her costume on, surprisingly. After the first couple times walking up to people's doors, though, she decided she didn't want anything to do with that, so she waited with one of us in the wagon at the curb. :) I'm sure she'll be right in there with big sis next year!

Here are our lovely little bugs . . . ;)

Ballet!

Here are some photos from Natalie's ballet class. She is really enjoying it, although she doesn't always totally participate. I think she gets shy. She always does the individual things, it's when they are doing something as a group that she tends to just watch the others. Or get distracted by the mirror. ;) Either way, she really is having fun, and her teacher (my friend Jesi) assures me that she's doing great.

New Home!

I'm dead tired and don't have a single photo to share, BUT I just wanted to announce that we are officially in our new home! We're currently sharing it with lots of boxes, but we're here (and so is all of our stuff). YAY!!!

Gulf Shores - Take 2

OK I have like one million photos from our vacation, and I really want to post them all, so I will! :)

Here goes!

Here's the house we rented. Somehow, I never managed to get any photos of the front, so these are all of the backyard, covered porch, and pier.

Oh, and this is pretty much how I saw Mollie most of the vacation: RUNNING AWAY FROM ME - FAST!

I so wish I had a video of this, but the girls were singing, "Ala-BAM-a!! Alabama! Ala-BAM-a!!" and doing their own crazy dance. Hilarious and adorable!

Mollie & Elizabeth, destined to be the best of pals!

Elizabeth - this cracks me up because I asked her to smile for me, and she grabbed some random "props" from the yard to pose with. hahahah!

Mollie on a mission. LOVE that Mollie loves carrying things over her arm, and always keeps that arm up so it doesn't fall off. ;)

Mollie relaxing in the baby swing. She enjoyed it more as a toddler than she did as an infant, I'm pretty sure.

Here are a few of all the girlies together.

The first local beach we visited. Pretty, but it had biting flies. NOT.FUN.

Orange Beach. MUCH better. Beautiful, clear water, clean sand, and not nearly as many flies. We hung out at this beach twice.

Mollie loved digging in the sand. She was SO excited to find a shell!

Two words: WORN OUT.

Natalie hanging out with Caleb. She claimed he kept smiling at her, but I'm not sure if you could really tell with the pacifier. She was happy about it though. :)

Me & the chickadees. It was nice to snuggle with Mollie, but unfortunately, she was getting sick and we didn't quite know it yet.

I just love the way the sand looks. I didn't have time to capture it that well, but I tried!
